Jean-Claude CHARLIER

Jean-Claude Charlier built up BeamExpress Inc. as CEO from June 2002 till September 2005, when he transformed BeamExpress Inc. from a VCSEL technology spin-off from EPFL into a world-class transceiver manufacturer in the Silicon Valley and secured three run of financing. In July 2006 he took over the VCSEL operation in Lausanne after its spin-off from BeamExpress Inc. Prior to BeamExpress Jean-Claude held several executive positions in Sales & Marketing with the Semiconductor division of Agilent Technologies and Hewlett-Packard bringing direct industry and management experience in the field of semiconductors. Charlier holds a M.S. degree in electronic engineering and executive education from INSEAD (France) and IMD (Switzerland).
