Omar MESSLEM

I studied electronic engineering majoring in signal processing at ISEN (French Graduate School of Engineering and Electronics) and graduated in 1995. I started my career as an R&D Engineer within the Smart Card Interface Division of a leading smart card terminals producer. I then joined the Telecoms Business Unit of Gemplus SA (now Gemalto) as a Technical Consultant in charge of providing presales and after sales services to the major EMEA telecoms operators.In October 2002, I enrolled in an MBA program at the French Institute of Business Administration (Cezanne Business School) to build on my experience and acquire a double qualification. After graduating in 2003, I was for 2,5 years the Business Development Manager of a start-up company offering hypermarkets a fine-tuning mobile services platform to address the buying needs of their consumers. Early 2006, I joined Delta Loudspeakers SA in Lugano as a Sales Manager in charge of overseas business development. After recruiting several key distributors in various countries, our financial partner was acquired by a large financial institution focusing its priority on private banking business opportunities.Beginning of 2007, I joined ETEL S.A. in the Neuchâtel Canton as a Key Account Manager and Technical Sales Engineer for the BENELUX market.
