Patrick Farrugia

During the 20 years of his career in the Internet and Information Technology industry, Patrick Farrugia developed his personality and expertise in starting-up small companies, developing subsidiaries of large corporations and growing global account opportunities. Patrick’s reputation of customer focused professional is backed-up by a strong strategic thought leadership in value creation and innovation. Patrick’s professional background spans from the co-foundation in 1989 of “France Networks”, one of the first companies to introduce Internet Protocols solutions and services in France. As Technical Director, Patrick evangelized Internet Protocols technologies in large French corporations such as Airbus, CNES, Sanofi, Eurocopter… In 1999, Patrick joined Dimension Data (www.dimensiondata.com) to establish and develop its Toulouse subsidiary to where it is now (25Millions € turnover with over 110 employees), with a dedicated focus on Airbus account since 2003 serving as Global Account Manager. Throughout those years, Patrick Farrugia demonstrated his commercial drive, abilities to innovate and entrepreneurial leadership that enabled Dimension Data to become one of the four main Airbus Information Technology global suppliers. Patrick received Dimension Data European top sales award in 2004 and Dimension Data global sales incentive recognitions five times from 2001 through to 2008.Patrick Farrugia owns a Master’s degree in engineering from the “Centre d’Etudes Supérieures Industrielles” of Toulouse.
