I worked for Hewlett-Packard Company theses last twenty six years.I was based theses lasts seven years at Hewlett-Packard International – EMEA European Headquarters based in Geneva, Switzerland (hereafter ‘HP’) as Indirect Procurement Strategic Buyer. I was in charge for the vendor selection, negotiations and strategic partnerships in the areas of Marketing, Information Technology (IT), Real Estate Work Places Services – General Services (REWS), Human Resources (HR), Travel and Consulting, related orders, contract part for total Switzerland and was also responsible for procurement of Geneva site. I also was in charge of hotel and car fleet for the corporation.But, previously HP, after three years in Hotel School in Strasbourg, France, I had hold with success a diploma of ‘Brevet de Technicien en Hôtellerie / Option A : Cuisine & Restaurant’. I also has passed one year for my french military service. Four years and half I had worked in hotels sector particularly for Accor Group.In 1981 Patrick I joined Hewlett-Packard, Geneva, Switzerland as a member of General Services. Current May 1986, I took the responsibility as Supervisor of Mailroom, Shipping, Receiving and Purchasing Department in HP Geneva for the Swiss French part. My first purchasing task has been for 18 months to take the full responsibility of all purchasing matter - goods and services, related to the implementation of new HP building in Geneva. In autumn 1988, I had moved to HP European Headquarters in Central Purchasing Department based in Geneva too. My major responsibilities has been for purchasing matters as vendor selection and evaluation, request for quotes, negotiations, recommendations, consultancy, processing orders and contracts for goods and services (for furniture, catering, office supply, stationary, retentions, building, etc…) and also car fleet management (car policy, car selection, insurances, maintenance, accidents reports, car resale and related contracts, with car consultancy and support for HP Geneva European Headquarters Managers and Foreign Service Employees).End of 1999, I had moved to Operations Procurement Switzerland, as a member of new procurement team for total Switzerland, always based in HP Geneva European Headquarters. I had been a strategic buyer in charge for Marketing, Information Technology (IT), Real Estate Work Places Services – General Services (REWS), Human Resources (HR), Travel. I had been responsible for Geneva site for the procurement part. I supports from the beginning the ‘Foundation in Favour of The Romanian Orphans’ based in Geneva, Switzerland as the co-Founder, member and Vice President (VP from 1992 to 1999), with several human missions in ‘Province of Maramures’ North/East of Romania.
