| Biographie / CV | Thierru Baussant was Head of Analysis and Synthesis Department at GeneProt® (Geneva). Before that, he has worked 12 years in the pharmaceutical industry. T. Baussant has discovered and characterized a membrane bacterial protein exhibiting interesting properties for the design of conjugate vaccines and cancer immunotherapy. Then, he has developed several industrial processes for purification of therapeutic recombinant proteins and has been responsible for the Downstream Process of API for clinical trials. T. Baussant has been a postdoctoral researcher at INSERM in France. His research job was the study of renin-angiotensin and kinin-kallikrein systems, in cardiovascular area. He has obtained his PhD at Lille Science and Technology University, in France. T. Baussant is coauthor in 32 international peer reviewed publications and co-inventor in 18 patents. |
| Activité | The core activity of KeySep is the preparation of moleculelibraries from human biofluids and tissue extracts (mainlypeptides, small proteins and lipids). These libraries are availablein a format adapted to HTS. They are an interestingalternative to organic synthetic molecule and peptidelibraries.More specifically, KeySep produces and commercialisesthese libraries for identification of the natural ligands oforphan G Protein Coupled Receptors (GPCRs).Beside this GPCRs deorphanisation activity, KeySep isable to offer the same kind of service for other purposessuch as allergens, autoantigens, growth factors or proteaseinhibitors identification from various sources.In addition, KeySep offers services in downstream process design and validation and services in analytical methods design and validation. |
