Nicolas Berg, born 1959, has (co)founded 8 companies since 1984 and invested in 16 startups since 2000 as a business angel (IT, Games, Internet, Financial, Nutrition, Biotech) . In 1998, he had the initiative and was co-founder of http://www.Borsalino.ch, a leading Swiss financial portal for private investors (trade sale in 2000 to Ringier Media). For several years Nicolas worked as freelance journalist for CASH, Bilanz, NZZ, Basler Zeitung, Computerworld, Netz, Smile etc. (magazines and newspapers). From 1992-98 Nicolas worked as Editor for IT and Business at Berner Zeitung. 1989 Nicolas was founder of the Spielberg Institute Ltd. in Luterbach, which acquired PLS Psychologische Lernsysteme AG in Bremen (trade sale to Jünger and Langenscheid). In 1988/89 Nicolas was lecturer for human resources and management training at the University of Bern. In 1986/87 Nicolas worked as salesman and lecturer at Institute for Sales training and Leadership (ISL) in Oslo. In 1984, at the age of 25, he co-founded Sasso Text AG (PC, LAN, Videotex) in Zuchwil. After elementary schools and college type E (business), he graduated in 1985 as lic.rer.pol. (cum laude) at the University of Bern.
