Claude Promonet

¨Claude Promonet joined Cisco in April 2012. He currently works as a subject Matter Expert on hardware and silicon technology, focusing on the switching market in the Technology Strategy team in CDTG. His work includes activities in technology strategy and technology intelligence, particularly the Cisco Technology Radar. It also includes supporting portfolio management and acquisition due-diligence.Prior to join Cisco, he worked at Applied Materials as a program manager, bringing to market solar-saw used to manufacture solar wafers. Claude also spent 6 years in GE designing, leading a hardware team and leading program to bring to market an enterprise-class video surveillance and storage solution. Prior to this, Claude has 7 years of experience designing network, multimedia and computer devices.Claude holds a Master in electronic and industrial computing, a master in Medical Instrumentation and a Bachelor in physics from the University of Grenoble, France.
